Tonalli is a California Chicano musician, producer, and creative producer building work rooted in sound, culture, and community.

Born and raised in San Francisco, he began his creative journey in his early teens through a stage production apprenticeship with BRAVA, where he developed a foundation in audio engineering and live production. From there, he shadowed Grammy-nominated producer Greg Landau, learning the craft of culturally grounded music-making, before working on film sets as a production assistant under producer Brian Benson.

Now based in Los Angeles after graduating from University of California, Los Angeles — where he majored in Economics and studied the music industry — he works across music, live events, and storytelling as a producer, showrunner, and collaborator.

He currently produces Sonidos, a live music web series celebrating Latin artistry, while continuing to create work that honors California Chicano identity through sound, memory, and shared experience.
